Great results from the teams in the Mullingar 2 day with Eoin O’Shea finishing 2nd overall in A4 and Martin Gill taking the A3 overall. Nick Coughlan guesting for WW won stage 1&3. Patsy McCaffery unfortunately crashed out on stage one but apart from the usual road rash, is in one piece.
Brendan Ennis won tonight’s race in Enniscorthy, by taking the win ahead of his breakaway companions. Looking at the pictures, I’d say that’s the coolest winner’s salute the league has ever seen. Not too cocky, yet confident. Cadel Evans would be proud. Well done Brendan. Pics available on the SCC site http://www.slaneycyclingclub.com/?p=2635
